Without you my life would have been completely different and Ticmate would probably not exist. During our teenager years, me and my friends listened to your music all the time and were so inspired by you.
When the Let´s Dance Tour came to Ullevi, Gothenburg in 1983, I lived in Jönköping and thought it would be fun to rent a bus and go 50 people together. Said and done, I organized this trip with no interest in making a profit. As it turned out 150 people wanted to join the bus and without me knowing it, a business idea that became Svensk Nöjestrafik AB was born. I moved to Stockholm and Svensk Nöjestrafik bought Box Office that became the base before Ticmate took the jump out into the world.
David Bowie, you are a great role model thinking in innovative ways, never stand still, dare to fail, be curious about the unknown, never lean back, affirm what is different and challenge the standards of the society.
